My Neighbour Totoro (Stage Production)

The critically acclaimed stage adaptation of Studio Ghibli’s beloved film continues its extended run at the Barbican. Produced by the Royal Shakespeare Company, this production uses stunning puppetry to bring Totoro and the forest spirits to life. If you haven’t seen it yet, this might be your last chance.

Hyakkō: 100+ Makers from Japan

Japan House London’s major exhibition showcasing over 100 Japanese craftspeople and their work. From ceramics to textiles, this exhibition explores contemporary Japanese craftsmanship and its connection to tradition.

  • Dates: Until 10 May 2026
  • Venue: Japan House London, Kensington High Street
  • Admission: Free

Tokyo Nights: Sumo + Sushi + Sake

This is the big one. Following the Grand Sumo Tournament at the Royal Albert Hall in October 2025 (the first in London in 34 years), Tokyo Nights brings an immersive sumo dining experience to Greenwich.

Four former professional sumo wrestlers will perform in a central Dohyō (ring), while guests enjoy sushi from Sticks’n’Sushi and sake cocktails. The venue will be transformed into a Tokyo streetscape with neon lights and traditional elements. Created by the team behind Secret Cinema and The Grand Expedition.

The waitlist currently has 75,000+ people signed up. Tickets started from £60 but are selling fast.
